Mother. Wife. Picture lover.
Hello there, I’m Tori!
Here’s A Little About Me – in a List!
When I was little I wanted to be an animal doctor, photographer and an artist.
At age 12, I placed 1st place in my first national photography contest.
I have a B.A. in Visual Communications.
I married my high school sweetheart.
We have a beautiful amazing strong daughter.
My baby girl is my hero and is the strongest person I’ve ever known.
We have a 50 pound fur-baby Portie, Heidi.
I’m a foodie. I LOVE to eat good food… and I take pictures of my husband’s food before he eats it.
I love to travel… with my camera in tow.
I go to bed basically so i can wake up and have coffee. LOVE my coffee.
I’m a reality TV junkie. You name it, I watch it.
My favorite food is gnocchi (my Nonna’s).
Oreos and pie are my weakness.
I can make clutter appear out of nowhere.
Okay, but seriously…
I married my high school sweetheart and we have a beautiful amazing daughter. I have a bachelors Degree in Visual Communication from Columbus College of Art & Design and have over 20 years experience in design and photo studio direction. I have always had a passion for documentary and travel photography which I enjoyed on my own traveling with my husband.
In 2013, during my pregnancy with my daughter, we had an unexpected turn of events at my 20 week ultrasound. We were told that our baby girl had a birth defect called Spina Bifida. After hearing this and told our daughter may have a poor quality of life, we realized how much life was going to change. My corporate job in a photo studio wasn’t going to fit this new life’s journey. I would need to be home with my daughter, but absolutely needed to work to pay for our baby girl’s medical needs. My husband mentioned that I take beautiful pictures and instead of directing photography in a photo studio… I should be taking pictures and make it my career. I reached out to the photographers I had worked with in my career and they encouraged me to take this leap. I began building my photography portfolio and launched my business in 2014. My daughter is my joy, inspiration and reason for… "Joyful Mia"
I have a love and true passion for making beautiful images that capture your fleeting moments. Time is precious. I want to preserve your special memories for you and create the ability for future generations of your family to be able to relive these moments forever.
A little about my work
I specialize in lifestyle photography and my style is simple. I capture the wonderful, natural and candid moments of your family.
There’s nothing I love more than having my families interacting with one another and having fun in the moment.
Capturing those in-between moments are my absolute favorite!
I’m so amazingly blessed to have met such wonderful clients that I have. They are the reason why my business is thriving and I’m able to honestly say that I love my job. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
I feel honored to have my families choose me as their photographer – whether it be for their newborn, portrait or family sessions. How amazing is it that I can freeze a moment in time for them to look back on and reminisce about? If you ask me, I’m pretty darn lucky!
